Meet Huckleberry! He is a Border Terrier Mix that is looking for a forever home. This lover-boy requires a tall fence (privacy fence preferred). Huck does well with kids (10 years and over) and loves to lounge with his humans. He is a very smart dog and has already had some professional training sessions and knows several commands. Huckleberry is house trained and crate trained, and up to date on Heartworm and vaccinations. Huck needs to be the only dog in the home. Apply at www.animalsbestfriends.org

A completed application is required to meet the animal(s) you are interested in and to begin the adoption process. The application must include a veterinarian reference showing a history of good pet ownership and you must live within 100 miles of Independence, MO. At times, multiple applications will be a part of the decision making process when selecting the perfect home. An email confirming our receipt of your application will be sent to you. It will take 5 days for us to review your application and contact your references. If you do not hear from us within 5 days, we are pursuing other applications.
