Their adoption process
A completed application is required to meet the animal(s) you are interested in and to begin the adoption process. The application must include a veterinarian reference showing a history of good pet ownership and you must live within 100 miles of Independence, MO. At times, multiple applications will be a part of the decision making process when selecting the perfect home. An email confirming our receipt of your application will be sent to you. It will take 5 days for us to review your application and contact your references. If you do not hear from us within 5 days, we are pursuing other applications. We are a non-profit organization, licensed in the state of Missouri. We rescue animals from local shelters and off the street, while some come from owners who can no longer keep them. Our animals are cared for at our facility or in foster homes while we help them find their forever family.
