My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gordy! He is a beautiful, young, intelligent, high energy mixed-breed. He loves to play tug of war with his toys and will happily play fetch with you. We are currently working on improving his resource guarding of food. He would do great with an active family who has the time to play and exercise with him. At this time, it's not known how he is with other dogs, but he would do best in a home with no cats or small animals. He would also do best in a home with either no kids or kids 12 years old and up. He already knows how to sit, appears to be potty trained, is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Apply to adopt him at ghhs.org!

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
