Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bluebell, a sweet 6-year-old spayed pup! Bluebell is the embodiment of love, always eager to shower affection on her adult/older children companions. Cuddling is her forte; she's a master at snuggling up and making you feel cherished. Loyalty runs deep in Bluebell's veins, and she is ready to stand by your side through thick and thin. Her demeanor reflects her respectful nature; she knows boundaries and typically won't intrude unless invited, whether it's hopping onto furniture or respecting your personal space. Bluebell's stoicism adds an air of dignity to her presence. While she's still mastering commands like sit and stay, her progress is commendable, especially when treats are involved! She's considerate even in the mornings, content to sleep in until you're ready to start the day (she has the cutest snore, too). Whether it's a long hike or a lazy day indoors, she adapts seamlessly to your energy level.
She tends to pull on the leash, so a harness would be a wonderful investment! We lovingly refer to her as our "stubborn lady," as she has a stubborn streak that we find endearing. Bluebell's quirks add charm to her personality; from her adorable snoring to her playful sneezes, she's full of delightful surprises. She's also quite the wrestler and enjoys solo ball games, showcasing her playful side.
Overall, Bluebell is an exceptional companion who will bring joy and warmth to any home. With her sweet demeanor, unwavering loyalty, and endearing quirks, she's sure to become your best friend in no time! Contact her foster family at beauvermillion@yahoo.com to set up a meet and greet!

More about this shelter
Asheville Humane Society is about hope, not heartache. As Buncombe County’s critical safety net since 1984, we are always here to save and protect every animal. We have mastered the art of saving lives within our walls and now we are going even further, helping our community’s pets and their people thrive together.
