Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lea was adopted December 2023!
Have you seen my face? Then you’ve probably fallen in love with me already! Everyone does and I know it because everyone always want to hold and pet me! Could it be my dazzling toy-catching skills? How about my scratching post-climbing skills, or maybe how I give you nose kisses before falling asleep on your chest? In any event, I am one unique kitty!
I have a condition that makes me do a fancy wobbly walk but that doesn’t get in my way! I have been diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), or what’s referred to as a “wobbly kitten”. This condition is painless. It does not impact my lifespan and does not have any risk of additional health complications. It means that I wobble, causing problems with balance, coordination and walking. I am the sweetest thing and I do not let this stop me! But it does mean I need a special adopter who understands my condition and is able to provide the right environment (and environmental modifications) in order to meet my needs.
I climb, catch toys, run around and jump like all my other foster siblings! My dream home would have at least some carpeting to help me keep my balance when I’m doing zoomies across the room and a nice, tall perch for me to climb and see the world from my forever home. I would be very happy to be adopted with my sisters Piper and/or Lula (or another fun cat sibling). We like to curl up and nap together after playing with our toys!
