Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org
Toffee - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!
Toffee is made when you combine brown sugar and butter. Add brown and yellow and you get this beautiful shade of ME! Oh yeah and also a little bit sweet and a little bit smooth. Some guilty pleasure in every day without any of the guilt!!! How perfect is that?!!
I'm somewhere around 3 years old. A great age for still being playful but out of the puppy destructive stage. There are some very beneficial bonuses for adopting a dog vs a puppy. We are fully grown, what you see is what you get. No wandering what we'll look like or how big we'll be. We don't need constant monitoring, If you forget to put up your shoes, more likely then not they will still be in one piece. Oh yeah and I'm also house and crate trained.
At around the 10lb range I'm a great size for going on neighborhood strolls, walks to the local coffee shop (could I pleeeease have a puppaccino!), going for nature walks, being your co-pilot on trips to town for errands or just trips to the park. I'm big enough for most adventures but also small enough I fit on just about an lap so there will always be room for you on the couch!
I am good with people and the other foster pups. I haven't met any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet but with my size and sweetness, If introduced properly I should do fine with them too!
I came from down close to the TX/Mexico border and was being detained. I somehow misplaced my pawsport. But thankfully I was let out on account of my adorableness and my good behavior. A part of my parole was that I have a loving family and home to live. I'm hoping YOU can help me with this. All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I'll take it from there!!.
