Here's what the humans have to say about me:
So, what happens to a dog in south Texas when they are too big to be a “small breed” and too small to be a “large breed”, don’t have fluffy hair, and they are just not in that adorable puppy stage anymore? They end up on the euthanasia list. We thought surely someone would adopt her and we had already taken so many from the shelter that we had no room. We placed a last resort hold on her so that she wouldn’t actually be euthanized. We got the call that we had to come get her or she would have to be euthanized as they just had no more space. So, with open arms, we accepted our new intake. Welcome Genesis!!! She was so excited that she got to go for a freedom ride and even have some yummy chicken too! We already love this sweet girl and we just know her family is out there waiting and hoping that they will finally find their new family member. We think she is a larger rat terrier at 25# and 9 months.
