Hi! My name is Bubba Buddy. I was found as a stray in New Jersey and was rescued by Penny Angels Beagle Rescue (PABR) when my previous owners did not come forward to reclaim me. I am approx. 7 years old, but I could be older; life is too short and I don’t really keep track of those things. I am neutered and up-to-date with my vaccinations. I weighed 22 lbs. when I was at the vet’s office.
Why do I have 2 names? Besides the fact that ‘Bubba Buddy’ easily rolls off your tongue, I am doubly special! I am a happy-go-lucky boy…a ‘diamond in the RUFF’, according to a PABR volunteer. I don’t know what that means but I sure do like the sound of it! Nothing seems to bother me. My tail is constantly wagging and I do sit for treats. I have the cutest, deep bark (or so I have been told), and I do like to ‘talk’ at times. I get along with everyone including kids and other dogs. My teeth look pretty good for an older dude. My skin has seen better days, though. I heard the volunteers saying that I could use a ‘spa’ day. Sounds interesting. Perhaps I will get to enjoy that pleasure soon. Good food and nice, comfy baths should help my skin to improve. I am using a doggie door in Rescue but will need to learn new rules in your home. I think you will really like me when you meet me. I can’t wait to meet my new family!
