My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Aspen, a spirited female Pitbull Terrier mix bursting with energy and enthusiasm! Aspen is a vibrant soul, always ready for adventure and play. Her slobbery kisses are a testament to her affectionate nature.

While she might be selective with furry friends, she's an oversized lap dog, craving human connection and attention. Found on the streets, Aspen is still learning her manners and can be a bit nervous in new places.

However, she's a champ in the car, she'll ride shotgun every time she hears that engine roar! With unique markings that make her one of a kind, Aspen is looking for a loving home where she can share her zest for life and be your loyal companion. Come meet this delightful girl and discover the joy she brings!

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
