My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PJ has come so far. He was a feral barn cat but now is enjoying being a house cat. Still slightly shy he loves watching the birds outside. He is good with other cats and fine with dogs. Pj is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is ready for a family of his own.

Adoption fee is $125

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
