My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Capri and ready to live my best life!

Here is a little about myself. I love humans. But like, really love them! All types, young, old, smalls and bigs! My foster mom has said that I am what they call a velcro pittie. What can I say? I think humans are fun to be around.
I also enjoy the company of other dogs, but if you have more hoo-mans, I would rather hang with y'all. I don't hang out with the cats though. They remind me of things I would like to chase. So they are out for me.

Speaking of chase! I need someone to help me work on and build up my leash skills and walks. Don't get me wrong, I do well on the leash however, when small critters are around I tend to get excited. My foster mom is helping me with that skill and the skill of slow introductions when something or someone is new to me. I'm a bright gal who enjoys learning, so let's build our bond through training and care.

My other hobbies include chewing on a Benebone, sunbathing, short walks, lounging, and snuggling. I'm pretty easygoing so if it's a Netflix and chill kind of day, I'm in! If it's a ride around town or a walk in the neighborhood, I'm down for that too!

Are you ready to make me your paw-tner and sidekick?

Can't wait to meet you!

More about this rescue

We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.

Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
