Meet Reba McEntire!

Reba is 52 lbs., and approximately 2-year-old Feist mix. She is fully vetted and heartworm-negative. She is currently fostered in Elkton, MD.

Sure puppies are tons of fun-and they bring so much joy to your life. But not everyone is up for their shoes being chew toys, potty training and all that being a puppy owner involves. If you are one of those people, you found your girl!

Reba is excellent with other dogs, big and small - very sweet, calm, and friendly. She is very playful and will keep herself entertained for a long time. She loves to chew on her toys, especially bones. She has medium energy level, walks great on leash, and does not need constant exercise.

Reba would love a quiet home. Because she is fostered in a rural area, she is not used to city noises and loud neighborhoods. Therefore, no urban areas or busy apartment/townhome complexes for her.

Reba would love for her people to be there more often than not as she loves, loves, loves to be with them snuggled up and getting some love. Reba is well-behaved when home alone and does not need to be crated.

Reba warmed up to her foster family in a couple of weeks, and now her favorite spot is the couch resting her head on her foster mom. She will need a family that gives her time to get used to a new routine and new people, as well as a family that can give her lots of attention.

A fenced yard is also needed. Reba loves to be outside and would make a great hiking, camping, or even swimming pal. She loves enjoying the sunshine!

Reba outgrew digging when outside and no longer tries to escape (but some supervision outside might still be needed, especially in the beginning). She is a pro at using the doggie door and comes when called (most of the time)!

Reba is very friendly and sweet, but she can be timid around some people she does not know. Her foster mom explained that her fear of strangers has been decreasing. She also said that Reba is one of the best fosters she has ever had- so easy, smart, and loveable!

Finally, Reba loves to stand in the rain! Her favorite spot is in front of the kitchen's slider door, where she just observes the family inside while enjoying the rain for as long as she wants.
