***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation***
Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.

We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA.

Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees, but if the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees we will accept PayPal.

Another amazing sweetheart you will ever meet. Becca was in a brutal cell in a kill shelter in CA. Beautiful Becca the terrier love, had a scheduled appointment for an adoption per the shelter but they passed on her so she needed help. She had now fallen through the cracks. How anyone could not love this face, we don’t know? We knew from the moment we seen Becca’s picture in the shelter we had to rescue her because absolutely no one was coming to save her. How she ended up there is mind boggling.
On this day we actually got 3 dogs out of the high kill shelter in CA.
Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Becca how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home.

Becca was bought back to the WA state from CA where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home.

We will never ever understand how Becca ended up in the kill shelter in CA. She is not the girl you see in these pictures to the girl we got out of the shelter. It’s unbelievable how different she looks now. She was quite skinny when we first rescued her. She is beyond grateful to get out of that hell hole & is such a full of life little soul.
Becca’s foster mum said, she loves attention & would love for it to be all about her. She is very sweet & affectionate. Sometimes a little bit of a stalker.
Becca loves to be loved by you picking her up & snuggling with her. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home.
She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She also wants to sleep in bed with you & just to be with you. She will jump onto her fosters mums bed just to relax on during the day.
Becca is really good with being bathed & groomed, she is so tolerant. Becca loves to eat & is a wonderful eater, she is not shy about that. In her foster home she eats clean, meaning fruits, vegetables, raw proteins, grains & supplements. She has put on so much weight in het foster home.
She would still need work walking on her harness & leash but she has been learning in the rescue.

Becca rides beautifully in the car & considering the only times we know of was when she was transported to WA & when we got her & now with her foster families. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Becca as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. Please do not say you won’t crate her & then go & crate her. We are also looking for a forever home for Becca where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them.
Becca is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her.

Becca loves her dog friends so much & she enjoys playing non stop & has never met a dog she doesn’t like. She does not discriminate against breeds.
She enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with other dogs in her loving foster home. Becca could be the only dog in the home & be the queen of the home but her new home must have a fully fenced backyard if it’s a house.

Becca is roughly 13 lbs, she is 21 months old & a terrier mix, what she is mixed with we are not sure. Female, she is spayed by laser by our vets. She is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed.

We have spent far more on Becca with bringing her to WA with her travel costs from CA, her medical care in WA, etc than her adoption fee comes close to covering.

Becca has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around children so we do not recommend cats nor children but it’s always up to the adopters to responsible with their children, cats & dogs.

We were not there when Becca was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is.

As with all of our rescues & Becca’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Becca potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.

We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Becca & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Becca who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.

Becca has an adoption fee of $995 & does not even come close to what we have spent on rescuing her & medically. She is now ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
