My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Padme is my name and I'm a 1 1/2 year-old brown tabby who was found outside with kittens Leia and Luke. We were fortunate enough to be able to get in to Animal Ark to get the care we needed. The kids are raised and in a great new home, so now it's my turn to find a family that appreciates my youthful energy and friendly personality. Staff at the shelter describe me as playful and outgoing. I've moved into a condo with other cats and have blended right in with no friction. So I'd do well in a home with another cat, as long as the introduction process was gradual. We're not sure about my experience with dogs or children, but patience and respect of my boundaries is always a good idea.

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

• Adult Cats: $180
