These three are very active and obviously don’t like their picture taken. Buddy is a people person and just started copying Eddie. He rolls over so you can rub his tummy.

Hazel's little motor runs all the time. She loves attention.

Eddie loves to eat and chase the other two. He loves attention, mostly belly rubs.

Some animals shown are rehoming courtesy posts for the current owners, and other animals are available for adoption through Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs).

All animals in the care of FRAs have their annual vaccinations, sterilization, FeLV/FIV test for cats, and a microchip. You must sign an adoption contract when adopting a pet through FRAs.

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization. FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
