Hi! I’m Penelope Pussycat, but you can call me Penny for short! I am a cute little grey and tan tabby who purrs up a storm snuggling with my foster mom and dad! A nuzzle of my cool nose to yours signals how sweet I am for your loving attention. I’m a clever, attentive, and playful little girl who loves to show off my kitty abilities pouncing fur toys, chasing jingle balls, and batting around dangly wand toys. But I also crave serenity time, some petting and napping on my human companion or just staring from a window roost at the outdoor birds and squirrels. My foster family is a multi-kitty home, and I’ve realized that I prefer social interaction with my human companions more than with other kitties. A quiet home where I am the primary excitement is my dream. So, if you are looking to bond with a playful and loving single girl, I’m the match for you! Purrs & Whiskers, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving Stafford, Virginia and its surrounding areas whose mission is to employ the best practices of the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) philosophy and for those deemed adoptable, we provide temporary foster care while actively seeking a loving permanent living situation. This is accomplished by providing compassion, daily nourishment, and basic wellness care for both individual cats, as well as colonies of free-roaming, homeless cats living outdoors. When feasible, we will collaborate with local shelters in an effort to relieve over-crowding by identifying and adopting out shelter cats into appropriate, permanent living situations.
