My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age/DOB: 8-1-2023

This pretty kitty came to us from North Carolina where she was outside seeking food and shelter since she was a tiny kitten. Her foster family brought her to Virginia to find her a forever home. She enjoys being a strictly inside kitty and is very social. She is a bundle of snuggles and likes to show her affection with lots of purring, kneading, and body rubbing. She is a little on the quiet and calm side, but is curious and eager to explore and meet new friends. She is currently in a home with multiple dogs and cats and has not had any issues.

If you're seeking a go with the flow cuddle buddy, Oatmeal Raisin is your girl.

I am spayed, tested negative for FIV/ FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, treated with Revolution, and am up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.

More about this rescue

Purrs & Whiskers, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving Stafford, Virginia and its surrounding areas whose mission is to employ the best practices of the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) philosophy and for those deemed adoptable, we provide temporary foster care while actively seeking a loving permanent living situation. This is accomplished by providing compassion, daily nourishment, and basic wellness care for both individual cats, as well as colonies of free-roaming, homeless cats living outdoors. When feasible, we will collaborate with local shelters in an effort to relieve over-crowding by identifying and adopting out shelter cats into appropriate, permanent living situations.
