My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Aristotle. I'm a gorgeous tabby with a stocky build... my foster mum says I'm very handsome.

I'm well-behaved and am so gentle with my human. I let her pick me up and trim my nails but I don't like cuddling and will wriggle and squirm until she lets go. She thinks with more cuddles I may get more used to it. She's found that if she cuddles me while she's standing I will stay in her arms for longer.

I am VERY playful and love to play with toys and my human's laser beam. I also love to wrestle and play chase with another of my foster brothers.

I don't snuggle with my human but I love to curl up near her feet and sometimes she accidentally kicks me but I am quick to forgive!

I have a great, adventurous personality. I am shy to begin with but quickly warm up. When my human has friends over, I love to be at the centre of all the action and will sit at the human table with them while they play games and eat. Of course, I always hope they will give me some of their food! I even sit for it like a dog.

I'm all-around a very good kitty and my foster mum wishes she could afford to adopt me. Please come and meet me as I'd love to say hi!

More about this shelter

Animals Are Our Mission

Over 1,100 animals pass through our doors every year. Did you know that the average cost to get our animals ready to be adoptable is roughly $350 per animal? That is because we require our adoptables to be spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adopting out.

Population control and disease management are issues in our community that we are working hard to resolve. Your donations help ensure we can continue our mission.

We have an amazing team of hard working staff caring for our animals 7 days a week. They are supported by a group of engaged board members that are focused on bettering our organization.
