Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you remember the Furby craze of the ‘90s, you know those toys were cute, fuzzy, and full of charm. But the real star is right here at the shelter — our sweet girl named Furby, who’s been patiently waiting for love since November 2023.
Furby came from a colony of friendly strays, and despite her outdoor beginnings, she’s always felt meant for home life. With her soft tabby fur, pale yellow-green eyes, and tender heart, she’s simply hoping for a cozy home and someone kind to call her own. She has a laid-back, serene presence, and she’s the kind of cat who quietly keeps you company at the end of the day, curling up close by as you read or work.
Though she doesn’t seek the spotlight, Furby has a gentle charm that quietly draws you in. She’s not flashy or bold, and that’s part of what makes her special. She brings calm and comfort just by being near. Furby would do best in a peaceful home with adults and older children, and she gets along beautifully with other cats. A fellow feline might even bring out more of her sweetness.
If your heart is looking for someone soft-spoken and steady to share your days with, Furby may be the one you’ve been waiting for.
To adopt Furby, please visit spcaallegany.org, email spcaallegany@gmail.com, call (585) 593-2200 ext. 2, or stop by the shelter yo meet her in person. She’s been longing for the right person to notice her, and she hopes that person is you.
