Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sandy!
This pretty lady is about 1 year old, spayed, and all ready to find her perfect forever home. Sandy arrived at HSoP as a stray, along with her twin sister Trudy. The duo wasn't claimed by an owner, so now they're on the hunt for loving adoptive homes.
Being around 1 year old, Sandy still has plenty of puppy energy and could benefit from continued training efforts in her new home. Like most pups, treats work as a great motivator for Sandy. This pretty girl has tons of energy and would appreciate an active owner or family to keep her happy and healthy. She has a tendency to jump and try to "hug" new friends, and this is likely a habit that can be broken with consistent training.
Sandy is a great age and has the potential to be a wonderful family dog. Since she arrived as a stray, we unfortunately don't know how Sandy would behave around cats or other dogs in her new home. She'll be required to meet any dogs in the home prior to leaving HSoP, and we offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to ensure a good fit for the whole family.
Those interested in getting to know Sandy should visit HSoP at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843. Dog kennels are open from 1:00-5:00pm Monday through Saturday, and Sandy would just love to meet you!
