Sweets is a Dachshund mix that is about 8 months old and weighs about 11 pounds. She is a high energy puppy that loves to play with toys and other dogs that can handle her high energy play- style. With humans, Sweets is timid and takes time to become comfortable in new environments. She lacks confidence and takes cues from other dogs in the home. Sweets would greatly benefit from a canine companion in her adoptive home. Once she is comfortable, she will be your #1 fan and shower you with puppy kisses. She has a short, sleek black coat, which in the right light, has chocolate highlights and shimmers. She is working on housetraining and keeps her crate clean all night, sleeping though the night without incident. Sweets is looking forward to new adventures in 2024 with her forever home...is that you??
Sweets is UTD on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.​
