My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready for a bundle of furry joy to bring into your home? Look no further than Rosie, the delightful Australian Shepherd Husky mix with an enchanting personality and a heart full of love. Rosie is a dazzling one-year-old with striking looks - with a cute docked tail that wags with excitement every time she sees a potential friend. Rosie is at that perfect age where she's full of energy and ready for all the adventures life has to offer. Rosie is a socialite in the doggy world! She absolutely adores playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a dog buddy who can help her navigate through the ropes of canine etiquette. Having a furry friend by her side will not only keep her entertained but also boost her confidence as she learns about the wonders of the world. If you're ready to embark on a journey of love, laughter, and tail-wagging adventures with Rosie, don't hesitate to reach out. She's waiting for that special someone to show her the joys of life and shower her with the affection she craves.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

More about this rescue

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Our Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
