My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruno – A Gentle Soul Looking for Love
Bruno’s story is one of hope, resilience, and devotion. He was rescued just hours before he and his beloved companion, Coco, were set to be euthanized at a rural shelter in San Antonio, Texas. At first, it seemed like the end of the road, both dogs appeared fragile, defeated and it was assumed they might only have a short time left.
But with the love and care of their foster mom, Bruno and Coco began to thrive. For a year and a half, they enjoyed a happy, full life together, filled with cuddles, walks, and the joy of finally being safe and loved. Sadly, Coco’s health began to decline, and she has since passed, leaving Bruno to grieve the loss of his lifelong best friend.
Now, Bruno is ready for the next chapter, a loving home where he can spend his golden years in peace and comfort. He’s a gentle, easygoing boy who doesn’t ask for much: just a soft couch, someone to love him, and the quiet companionship of a devoted human.
Bruno may be a senior, but his heart is full of love and loyalty, and he’s ready to share it with someone special.

More about this rescue

We are a breed specific dog rescue and direct our efforts on saving Dogo Argentino's across the United States. Our volunteers are dedicated to this breed and concerned about how many are ending up in rescue. We want to educate new owners of this breed and help lessen the amount we are seeing in the rescue network!
