Hello, potential forever family! I'm CJ, a charming Catahoula Hound born in 2022, and I'm ready to bring an abundance of sweetness and joy into your home.

Picture this: a dog who's not only super sweet and gentle but also downright silly. That's me! I'm the perfect blend of affectionate and playful, making me an ideal addition to any family. If you're looking for a furry friend who adores cuddles and embraces the silly side of life, then I'm your guy.

One of my favorite pastimes is water play. Whether it's splashing in a kiddie pool or joining you for a swim, count me in! I'm always up for some wet and wild adventures.

I'm a well-mannered pup, having mastered the art of the doggie door. Plus, I'm great with other dogs, and I'm confident that I'd be a fantastic playmate for little kids. As for cats, I'm not entirely sure, but with proper introductions, who knows? We might just become the best of friends.

If you're ready for a lovable, water-loving, and family-friendly companion, then I'm eagerly waiting to meet you. Let's create a lifetime of happy memories together! Ready to make CJ a cherished member of your family? Come meet me today! 🐾🌟

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
