Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Could Mitsy be any more beautiful? She was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 11/12. Mitsy is 3 years old and weighs in at 65 pounds. She is a sweet girl that loves to be loved on. She is calm and quiet. She knows to sit when asked. She is a perfect lady on the leash. Mitsy tested positive for heartworms, but she has been treated at the shelter and soon will be good as new. Dogs who are treated for heart worms usually go on to live long and healthy lives. Does this precious girl pull at your heart strings? Ask for ID# 650697 Run 16. She is current on vaccines and spayed and will be micro-chipped upon adoption.
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information.
