Personality: Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc), Nervous, Sweet

Favorite treats: Vitamin C treats and pea flakes

Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Botanical Hay, Western Timothy & Orchard Mix, Western Timothy Hay

Favorite toys and activities: she loves to burrow in fleece and tunnel under blankets

Potty trained: Yes, she does go in her corner litter box but also poops where she sleeps

This animal’s daily routine: Cage cleaning and salad early morning, floor/lap time evening

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): No, but needs a friend in an adoptive home.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Has previously been introduced to another guinea pig. The introductions did not go as anticipated.

Other notes: Lotus is incredibly sweet. Her foster says she enjoys being held, just not being picked up.

Lotus came to MNPPR when her previous owner was no longer able to afford to care for her.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 5660 Main St Ne, Fridley MN, 55432 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
