My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾MIKU🐾
***Please read my full bio before you apply to make sure I am a good fit for your home.
***An application must be submitted before we can arrange a meet and greet. Link to application is below.

Meet Miku! Miku has the soul of a queen who knows what she wants and will demand it. She can be very sassy and temperamental if you don’t respect her boundaries. Miku will take your breath away with her beautiful green eyes and gorgeous looks. Miku needs a home with no other animals so she can rule her kingdom peacefully. We have found that she needs to be the only animal in the home to feel safe, happy and secure. She is very talkative and will let you know that she expects you to listen to her with your full attention. She loves her wet food and will try to trick her foster mom into thinking she has forgotten to give the cats in the household their daily snack.

Miku is a very clean and tidy cat and is litter box trained. Due to some unknown trauma in her past, Miku must be the only animal in the home. Once she is acquainted with the humans in her home, she will roll over and demand belly rubs and will weave in and out of your legs to make sure you know she's there. Miku is a beautiful gray tabby with gorgeous green eyes who just wants a home where she can live on her own terms and be the center of attention. A trial placement or foster to adopt may be an option for the right family. If you think you can give this beautiful girl a chance, please fill out an application today! She deserves to have her own home with her own special humans who will give her all the love she deserves!

** Miku needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run and play, cat trees to scratch and climb and toys to keep her entertained. She needs an experienced cat owner who will respect her boundaries and give her love and attention. **

Miku needs to be the only pet in the home. She is a happy little queen when she isn’t with other animals! She would be best in a home without children and she is litter box trained.

Miku is eagerly waiting to find her forever home. Are you ready to welcome this sassy ball of fur into your life?🐾

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
