Hello! I’m Lucy.
I’m a sweet, friendly girl with a lot of energy. Because of this, my new home will require a large fenced-in yard, I’ll need plenty of exercise and continued training.
I am house trained, and I will let you know when I need to go. I am good with other dogs and cats, although I like to play tag with the cats sometimes and they don’t love it. I’m working on that with my foster people.
I know some commands such as “sit” and “come” and I’m working on “heel” with my foster people.
Sometimes, I’m so happy when people come home or come over that I jump with excitement. I’m much better than I was when I first came to live with my foster people and I'm getting better every day. For this reason, I would do better in a home with children ages 10+.
I'm looking for a family that wants a companion animal as I'm not a hunter, although I have been known to tree a raccoon or two. 😁
