Chance
URGENT Foster/Home Needed

Meet Chance! This sweet boy is an 8yr old Siberian Husky, weighing about 50lbs. He is crate trained and housebroken. Chance is very well-behaved and loves to learn. He gets along well with other dogs and peacefully tolerates cats. He was born with Premature Bilateral Cataracts Disease. It’s a progressive condition that has left Chance with limited sight. He mostly sees shadows but acclimates well in most if not all surroundings. A fenced yard is very important as he loves to play and run around. Due to his sight limitations, children under 13yrs are not advised. Chance is otherwise healthy, neutered and fully UTD on all.

Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, all volunteer NYS corporation which has been operating on Long Island for 40 years. We are working to create a better welfare system for all the animals in our communities. Over the years, we created, and continue to create, a number of valuable programs which serve to promote our mission to create respect for all animals, to educate individuals about animals, to help people keep their animals, and to provide assistance with the control of the animal population on Long Island.
