My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuko

Foster/Home Needed – Rochester, NY area ONLY

This handsome hunk of a dog is Zuko! He is 3-4 years old pittie mix, weighing roughly 65lbs. He’s already had 3 owners in his short life, and he deserves to find his last and forever. His first owner gave him up after a year because he isn’t "100% pitbull". His second owner sadly passed away earlier this year and a co-worker’s family took him in. They acknowledge Zuko is very loving and loyal, and they’ve enjoyed having him, but they’ve decided he’s not a good fit for their family.

Zuko would do best with an experienced large dog owner. He is very friendly but has a lot of energy and needs a little work on some of his manners. He loves people, loves to snuggle, loves long walks and loves to play. He is house-trained and knows basic obedience (sit, stay, come, paw). He is smart and responds well to training. His love for humans can cause him to be a little excitable. Children over 13yrs would be best. Zuko is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations.

If you are interested in being the final and forever home this handsome boy deserves, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or call the number listed below.
