Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Meet Ruby (aka Scarlet)! ❤️🐾
Ruby is a beautiful sweetheart (33% German Shepherd, 67% mystery mix!) with a heart full of love and a spirit full of fun. She came into foster care at just 4 weeks old, was adopted by her foster mom, and is now looking for a new forever home after her owner became too ill to care for her.
Ruby still has that adorable puppy energy and is affectionately known as a “Velcro dog”—she loves being close to her people! She bonds quickly, follows her humans from room to room, and is happiest when she’s part of whatever you’re doing.
Ruby’s strengths:
✨ Kennel trained
✨ Potty trained
✨ Very smart and quick to learn
✨ Affectionate, sweet, and well-mannered
✨ Great with other dogs and cats
✨ Spayed (fixed) and fully up to date on vaccinations
She loves playing fetch, going for walks, and will thrive with someone who wants an active companion. Ruby is looking for a family or individual with time to play, exercise, and enjoy her energetic, loving personality.
Bonus: Ruby comes with her kennel, bed, toys, treats, and LOTS of food—she’s all set and ready to settle right into her new home!
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and lively companion, Ruby might be your perfect match. ❤️🐶

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
