He was born on Jan 2,2023

He is Australian Shepherd - his mother is a purebred and his Sire is a Rhodesian Ridgeback / Vizsla cross.
About 40 pounds of puppy fun and 20 inches tall.

Received puppy shots March 2023, alteration July 2023, up-to-date inoculations August 2023, rattlesnake shot and booster, rabies verified, vetted by Dr. James Aarons @ Oak Country Vet in Paso Robles, Ca.

He has strong natural herding instincts and is athletic and brave.

I have had him with a trainer working on him becoming a gentleman dog was about 2 months, and he has learned a lot. He waits at gates and doors for people to go through first and waits for his command to come through.
He has learned sit, stay, lay down, off, leave it, and come - his recall is great and he has also been trained to come to the tone on his ecollar for when we are out in the field or at the beach. He knows the word “break” to release him from a stay.

He sleeps in a crate at night and takes rests in there during the day.
He is socialized with dogs and people, but is naturally protective and will bark at strangers.

He knows to leave Cats alone, they are “No”, and so are chickens, he stays away from their coop.

He loves to play with toys and loves to catch and retrieve toys and balls.
He is very smart and can be trained to do just about anything with a treat. He also likes children. He has been loved and cared for and makes friends easily.

Like most puppies, he loves attention. When I work in my office he sleeps at my feet with our 13 year old dog. He loves walks and is leash trained with a pinch collar. He has also been trained with an ecollar. Almost exclusively with the tone and vibrate features.

He is a high energy dog, and loves to work and be busy. He is always on ‘watch’ and is aware of everything going on around him. He loves to hunt for gophers, and has even caught one. He will hunt rabbits, squirrels and other rodents as well. He loves to hunt for treats hidden around the yard, and can easily jump a 4 foot fence without trying hard.

He has been socialized with horses and cattle, and knows to leave them alone.

All of his training tools come with him along with a proper show and tell with his dog trainer. She is available for help and continued education if needed/desired. She says “he is really smart and a good kid”

Our family is moving out of state to home in a busier town. My parents are elderly and I have injured my back and am unable to take him for long walks right now. We think it’s best to find him a home with a place to run!! A ranch would be perfect, or someone with high energy that loves to be active outdoors, and has a large fenced yard. He needs someone that is confident as a leader.
