Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there! My name is Baby Doe. I'm a Safe Place alumnus; my prior mom adopted me in 2017 but then passed away in November, so I'm looking for a new forever home.
I can be a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly and am an absolute sweetheart. I come to my name, like to sleep in bed with my person/parents, and love playing. I'm not a huge lap cat but like to be close for cuddling. I love to lie in the sun (like most cats) and enjoy climbing up on cat trees or wherever I can find a place to go high. I love chasing the feather wand and laser pointer. I prefer to be the only cat and want you all to myself. I have beautiful tabby markings and 4 white mittens. I've been at Safe Place a while now and would love a permanent home.
My $100 adoption fee covers everything too! visit www.safeplacepets.org for more info and to complete an application.

Please check out our available pets and contact us to let us know which one(s) interest you. We'll arrange a site visit to your home and a meet-and-greet with your prospective pet once we have had a phone chat to determine if our rescue pet is a good fit for you and you for him/her. If you and the pet decide it's true love, we'll have you fill out an adoption contract and ask for an adoption donation (rather than a fee) of $100 per cat and $200 per dog. A certificate of adoption is mailed to you once the process is complete.
