My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazzy and Roxy, one year old Doberman mix siblings have been together since the beginning, and their bond is something truly extraordinary. Both house-trained and accustomed to using a doggy door, these siblings have shown impeccable manners.

Jazzy is the more reserved of the pair, displaying a gentle and sensitive nature. She appreciates quiet moments and the subtle joys of life. Jazzy is a loyal companion who forms deep connections with those she trusts.

On the other hand, Roxy is the outgoing and playful half of this delightful duo. Always up for a game or an adventure, Roxy's energy is contagious. Her friendly nature makes her a social butterfly, and she has a way of turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones.

Don't miss the chance to make these beautiful girls a cherished part of your family. Apply to adopt at heberspringshumanesociety.com

More about this shelter

Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
