Hello, my name Is Gypsy and I am a gorgeous Belgian Malinois/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix about 7 months old, 47 lbs, and I was found in a box in front of a church in San Antonio Texas when I was only 6 weeks old. A nice older lady brought me home and raised me well, but as I kept growing and needed some room to run and be a youngster, she decided to surrender me to 4 Little Paws Rescue with the promise to find me a better life with a family better suited for me.

I am an extremely sweet and friendly girl with lots of energy and I get along great with people and other dogs. I have several doggy friends at my foster home, some small and some old and I absolutely love playing with them. Sometimes I’ll just run zoomies, enjoying the exercise on almost an acre property, being curious and a bit fearful of the big bucks roaming free on the other side of our fence, but I never jump or bark or create a ruckus. My foster mom takes me for a 1.5-mile walk daily and although I am not 100% trained to stay by her side, I am pretty close. I love chew toys and squeaky toys, especially my favorite soft rubber piggy, and I love rubbing my nose in the damp sweet grass on our morning walks. Tummy rubs and laying in your lap for pets and affection are always on my list of favorites. I’m loyal, I’m smart, I’m easily trained, I’m housebroken, and know how to use a doggy door. I love to be active, love walks and runs, trips in the car, and any fun adventure I am raring to go. There is a rescue dog transport van getting ready to leave Texas and it's heading for Connecticut, and I am planning to be on board and on my way to a better life and a wonderful future with a fantastic family that loves me like crazy!
