Meet Socks! He’s your typical fun-loving, enthusiastic, goofy, happy-happy-happy young Labradoodle. He’s 8 months old and is currently weighing in around 45lbs. Socks has had quite the eventful young life. In his former home he got himself in to trouble by swallowing socks. He had 2 surgeries to remove these foreign bodies from his intestines. His former owner relinquished him due to the affordability of the 2nd surgery. Moving forward past that he has been an excellent boy in his foster home. He has healed beautifully and packed on some much needed weight quickly. We are looking for a forever home for our boy that includes -
👞 A DILIGENT owner, we haven’t had any issues with Socks eating stuff in his foster home, but we want place him with someone who is very MINDFUL of his history. We are also not placing him in a household with young children as they have the tendency to drop things and we don’t want him to eat anything he shouldn’t! We believe his former issues with eating socks came about due to lack of physical & mental stimulation. 
🧤 Hopefully a buddy to play with. Socks LOVES other dogs! He currently resides with two older dogs, who he is respectful of, but he would love to romp around with a playmate. He would also benefit from dog daycare. 
🩳 Socks is a puppy! He has puppy behaviors. He has learned a few things in his foster home, but he still needs time to mature & grow.
🧢 Socks loves to cuddle up on the couch with his humans. He’s affectionate, invading, energetic, loving, etc. He’s an interactive boy who will need attention whether it be belly rubs, playing ball, leisurely walks through the neighborhood, etc. He just wants to be your companion, the apple of your eye. He’s a Doodle…
👕 Socks isn’t the biggest fan of being crated, but his foster is working on it with enrichment & positive reinforcement. We would like him to be an environment, where he is not crated all day every day while someone is at work. His ideal would be someone who works from home or wants to take him to a dog daycare maybe a few days a week.
