Hello humans!

My name is Lonnie and let me tell you a little about myself. You see, I'm a more mature pup that was surrendered to FDHS back in September after I was left by my owner who never returned. I'm not taking it personal though, I know I'm a good boy and it wasn't my fault. But now I'm looking for a forever home where I'll be treated like family and never left behind again.

Don't let my age deter you! I'm in great shape and play as hard as any of these other pups. I burn off a lot of energy while playing so lots of treats are apreciated! I just have the benefit of being house-trained and experience living as a member of the family. I catch onto manners very quickly and am eager to please! Not only that, but I promise to be a loving and loyal companion to our family.

I'm looking for a home where I get lots of pets and belly rubs. I seem to get along better with the calmer dogs, as the more reactive ones tend to get me worked up. I don't know if I've ever been around cats or other small animals, so slow introductions with any other pets is a MUST! I get along great with people of all ages.

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
