My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Levi was brought to us as a physically abused and painfully thin 2-year-old yet has admirably emerged as one remarkably resilient, fun-loving, affectionate, and healthy boy who is ready to love and be loved! Despite everything he's been through, Levi relishes human interaction – from gentle pets to spirited playtime, he adores it all. However, when it comes to other cats, Levi would prefer to be without any furry competition. And like so many male cats we've come to know and love through rescue, he's tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). However, with the same devotion and care you'd shower on any beloved feline, Levi's expected lifespan is just as bright as any other cat's. For information on FIV, visit FIV FAQ. Let's give this incredible survivor the loving home he's been waiting for! The first step is to submit our online adoption application at https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application. ✨ With an approved application, we can arrange for you to meet Levi. Applicants must reside within 45 miles of Stamford, CT.

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cat's in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to announce a new level of partnership with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their brand new facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. Come in and visit some of the Friends of Felines cats and kittens that are waiting for adoption. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8 am Monday through Saturday. Following your visit, should any cat or kitten pique your interest, you can fill out an application (available on-line at www.fofct.org).
