This sweet as sugar mama ended up at the Bakersfield shelter with 4 newborns in tow. They had been left on their former owners property after they moved. We scooped the entire family to safety and they have been doing great in foster care.

Ross has been an awesome mommy, but is now ready for the next chapter in her life. Ross is a gorgeous 2 year old, 12 lb Dachshund Chihuahua mix with a deep red coat. She is very petite and she loves her little safe spots in the home.

Although Ross is on the shy side, she actually warms up to people fairly quickly, especially if chicken is involved. She gets along with other dogs, but we think she would prefer to be a solo princess in her forever home. She loves all the attention and snuggles. We can't blame her!
