Nina is absolutely beautiful!!! INina’s superpower ,and what makes her so special, is her ability to take something that she fears and faces it. If you give Nina lots of positive reinforcements, she turns into a bubbly, quirky, loving lady whose biggest issue is learning to control her licker!!

She has also quickly caught on to crate/ house training and even enjoys an afternoon nap in her crate surrounded by all her toys and goodies that she likes to collect and bring in with her.  She has been great with the cats in her foster home and even tries to initiate play with them ( nothing mean ) and would do so well in a home with a cat that enjoys the company of dogs. She gets along well with all the dogs in and out of her foster home, but can be nervous with dogs who are " bossy." Nina has been patient and done well with children she has been introduced to but can be jumpy with sudden movements or outbursts, but she recovers quickly, she would probably love to have a child to grow with as long as they are gentle with her.

Her ideal home would need to have a securely fenced in yard. She is not vocal so an apartment or condo would be suitable for her as well. She would do best in a quiet home with a family that want to share their life and have the time to help her blossom and allow her to be. She has no issue with being in her crate while out and she is quiet and calm in there. When going on walks, loud noises and sudden sound startle her, and she really doesn't enjoy the cold right now. She much prefers a quick romp in the yard, thus her leash work needs a little work and time.

All in all this girl is clean, gentle and sweet natured... she learns nicely with a kind word and some treats and though a bit jumpy..she is ready..so so ready to be someone’s best friend!

If you feel you would be the right fit for Nina, please fill out an adoption application at www.allpawsmatter.ca

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
