My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kettle Chip!

Oh my goodness! New friends, I'm so dang excited to tell you all about me! I'm Kettle Chip, and if you didn't gather, I love people. New people, familiar people. Adult humans, and small humans. I also get along quite well with the other medium-sized, low-key doggo in my foster home. Since I'm a senior myself, who weighs just a little over 7 pounds, super big dogs might be a bit too much for me. Heck, they could wipe me out with one step! I'm a real good boy and will sit by the door to let you know I need to go potty. I haven't met any cats, but foster mom says I don't have much of a prey drive, and I'm the sweetest thing since the Tootsie Roll, so I'd probably do just fine with them too!

I'd love to find myself a forever family who won't take my love for granted. Someone who needs just a little bit of loving from a little bit of a pooch. The most perfect, cutest (I don’t have many teeth left, so sometimes my little tongue hangs out, adding to it), most affectionate guy in the whole land of dog! Heck, my hearing might be going, or I could have selective hearing, but my eyesight is just fine, and I will always know where you are. I have a great energy level, willing to go for walks with you (I love to meet new people and doggo friends), or car rides, or an adventure to the local dog friendly restaurant, but also willing to snooze the day away while you're at work or if it's rainy or cold out. I sure hope I find my forever human who will be thankful for everything I bring to their life! Are you ready to take me home?
