My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jane is a beautiful girl,

Clearly she has been a stray for a bit. Not sure if a human is a good or bad thing. She has one so much better since she has been found by a traveler.

Jane will be someone's best friend soon!

Jane Doe like so many without any info or idea how she became to be abandoned in a lonely stream of the Natchez Parkway has no idea if she will ever find a home.
She tries so hard to be perfect. Just the right amount of play, cuddles and personal time to make her new  happy.

Jane deserves to know what being valued is. Not to always feel like a throw away. Not even a name to call her own.

Adopt her and give her the name she will have forever with your family

More about this rescue

Russell Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. It was started in 2008 by Mary Ruth Rogers of Columbia, TN. Our mission is to save and re-home unloved, abandoned and abused dogs, especially the Jack Russell terrier. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters in Tennessee, and other nearby states.
