Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thin Mint is a very timid young girl who needs an owner with patience to help her learn to trust new people and let her guard down. She enjoys being pet once she is comfortable with you but is always sure to keep her eye on a clear path to a safe spot if things get too loud or there are sudden movements she doesn't expect. No small or active children for Thin Mint.

More about this rescue
We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
