Hi my name is Eva, I got my name because of my beautiful big blue eyes like Eve from Wall-E. I am pretty low maintenance, it may take a while for me to come out of my shell but once I do you will see how much love I have to give. I do not get along with other cats that are aggressive so I would do best as an only cat or cats that let me have personal space. I absolutely love being brushed and will sleep next to you all night long. I use to be an outdoor cat but have learned to love the luxuries of the indoor life and would love to find a forever home. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
