Peggy is 7 months old and currently 40 lbs. She's adorable, sweet, very affectionate, fun and friendly. Peggy is a doodle mix breed girl, a standard poodle, and a golden retriever. She has a black coat with chocolate highlights and white trim on her chest and paws.
Peggy was hit by a car and ended up in a crowded local shelter. Peggy had a broken hind leg and pelvis. She received medical care through LHS, and is now recovered from surgery. Peggy will need some time to build up strength on the injured hind side. She is already walking, playing, and hanging out with her foster dog siblings. Peggy needs a home that can provide her with an environment to continue healing and teach her how to be a puppy at the same time.
Peggy is potty trained, crate trained, and gets along with everyone in her foster home - dogs, cats, and people. Pretty is fully vetted - spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and HW/flea prevention. Poodle mix breeds require regular maintenance of their cost - brushing and grooming.
