My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Anouk, your friendly neighborhood Siberian Husky! At 5 years old  and about 65 pounds of floof, I like to think I bring a touch of Arctic charm wherever I go.

One thing you'll notice about me right away is my chill personality. I'm all about that laid-back vibe, whether I'm lounging in the sun or trotting alongside you on our next adventure. My manners are top-notch; you won't catch me jumping on the sofa unless you give me the green light.

I'm proud to say I'm fully crate trained and housebroken, making me the paw-fect companion for any adventure or lazy day at home. I'm a social butterfly too, getting along famously with other dogs, kids, and even those mysterious creatures called cats.

So, if you're in the market for a furry friend who's polite, low-key, and always up for some quality cuddle time, look no further. I'm your gal, ready to bring some Husky happiness into your life!

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

Go meet their pets

As a network of foster homes, we do not have a "shelter location". We do hold meet and greet events each month at various locations where you can meet our precious pitties. Otherwise, meet and greets are only available with an approved application and home visit.

You can view our schedule of events at www.adoptapitrescue.org/events or on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/adoptapitrescue

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue, re-home and rehabilitate abused, neglected and discarded "bully breed" dogs, with a focus on educating and advocating to ensure all bully breeds have a positive and optimistic future in a breed discriminatory society.
