Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our hearts hurt for Kai. His owner could no longer take care of him and his best buddy Oliver (ID# 652086). They arrived to the shelter on 11/28. Kai is 12 years young and weighs in at approximately 12 pounds. He is as sweet as can be but a bit scared of his new surroundings. Imagine not having a home after so many years? It is reported that he is good with children and house-trained. Do you have a heart for an older gentleman? Can he spend his golden years in your home covered with love? Ask for ID# 652083 Run T3. He is neutered. He will be micro-chipped and heart worm tested upon adoption.
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an appointment, go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you. Thank you for considering a Cobb pet!
