Meet Kai! He is not your typical lab mix. He is very strong, very high energy, stubborn and a picky eater. He walks well on a leash but will need a very active family. He gets bored easy and always needs something to engage him. He is very intelligent and protective of everything he loves. He would do best in a family with no small children because he is big and goofy and doesn't realize his size. He would do best as an only dog or someone that understands dog behavior. Because he is an attention hog and gets jealous easily. If you have the need for a bull-headed big lab mix boy, Kai is your dog. Get me your application ASAP.

More about this shelter

The Forest County Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in the great north woods located in Crandon, Wisconsin. We rescue, rehabilitate and adopt out all breeds of dogs and cats. Every animal is given a thorough examination by a veterinarian before placing them in a loving home and all animals are tested for Lyme disease, heartworm, feline leukemia and other infectious or debilitating diseases. They are vaccinated, de-wormed and spayed or neutered. All animals are lovingly cared for until being placed in their “fur-ever” family. Our website is www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org.
