Friendly and curious Clover is always the first to explore a new room or fresh cardboard box or greet a new friend. At 3 years old, this outgoing ginger boy is closely bonded with his brother Marbles, also 3 (see his listing here). The two of them spend their waking hours exploring together, and their naps and nighttimes delightfully intertwined. They both get along with other cats, and have been known to sleep in a 3 or 4-cat pile with their fellow foster kitties. Clover enjoys being pet, snuggling in your lap, and treats of all kinds. He also loves shoes, the smell seems to be intoxicating to him and he will even try to climb inside. Clover is very playful - chasing balls, wand toys and stuffed mice with glee - and full of fun. His welcoming and silly personality quickly makes him the center of attention among both kitties and humans. His favorite spot to lounge is anywhere in the sunshine, where he stretches out to full length to soak up all the rays, or at the window, birdwatching alongside his feline friends.
Clover is initially shy around strangers and it will take a little time for him to warm up to his new home. In return for your patience, you will have his unconditional love and companionship. Rescued with several siblings, including Marbles, Clover is healthy, stable and eager to find his forever home.

Our cats are almost all in foster homes. Upon approval of your application (including reference check), we will connect you with the foster parent(s) so that you can meet the kitty you're interested in. If it's a good fit, we'll do a home check for safety issues, and then process the paperwork so that you can officially adopt your new family member!

More about this rescue
We are a network of rescuers in Central Brooklyn (primarily in Bed Stuy, Ocean Hill, and Crown Heights) who help each other out. We do both TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) as well as the rescue and adoption of friendly cats and kittens that we find on the streets. We don't have a physical facility, so our cats are usually in foster homes, or staying with us in our own homes. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats we take off the street, and to make better lives for the ones we return there.
