What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is Zues. Zues lived with his previous owner from puppy until he was 6. He was then dumped on the streets by a family member of his owner who said they would take care of him since his owner was no longer able.
Due to the extreme change in his life, Zues is an anxious guy when you first meet him. After he warms up, he is the sweetest boy in the world. He loves ear rubs and cuddles. He is nuetured, house trained, and up to date on shots. He does not chew up things when left alone except for his toys. He loves kongs and tennis balls.
Zues is partially blind. Our vet thinks it is something that he was born with and currently can only see a little bit, probably mostly shadows. He gets around fine but will trip over/run into things from time to time. The vet said the disease will eventually cause full blindness but no other health concerns. Due to his semi-blindness he is nervous around other dogs and would need to be the only dog in the home.
